Need shocks for a smoother ride
What's up all, I've been looking through some threads but I can't find a definitive answer. My setup on my 98 LS is going to be a neuspeed upper strut brace, the comptech tiebar/swaybar combo, and some eibach prokits....but I need shocks that'll retain a stock-like ride, or close to. I had my heart set on koni yellows (and the bank for 'em too) but now I don't know if I'll need them all that much, considering I'm not planning to do a whole lot of autox'ing; i just want something lower but still smooth for the street. So should I just stick w/the yellows or switch to something like tokicos or KYBs? Any other suggestions? Thanks all.
well I've always heard that Koni yellows are excellent.
I have Tokico Illuminis on my car, and well they are are the best part I have put on my car.

For the relatively conservative drop the prokit provides, kyb agx is enough.
2 in front, 1 in rear is the closest to stock. But you'll never have the smooth (and bouncy) feel the stock shocks have.

KYB's are fine and many people use them w/ Pro-Kits.. but I think if you can afford Koni Yellows then you should get them... I have Koni Yellows on both my cars and I love them...I have no complaints at all in the 3+ years of use.. I'd buy them for my next car...
