Default WTB: crx blower resistor

Yep just like the title says. Better yet have anyone ever install a heat blower motor on a crx? I ordered a new motor today. I tried unbolting mines and pulling it down from the housing, but the flooring on the crx not allowing me to get it out.

thanks guys

Actually, the resistor for the blower is located on the passenger side, close to the ECU. I had to replace one of these once.

To get the blower motor out on an ef, from my understanding you gotta pull the dash and the remove the unit that the blower motor is in. OR just smash the floor down lol

Thanks bro, I actually split the air housing inhalf and squeaked my giant bodybuilding hands in and unbolted the wheel. Took me about 5 days, but atleast I didn't have to take out the dash. fyi I had cuts all over my hands.............................................

Come on guys I need a motor resistor. They go for like 5 bucks at the salvage, but I aint wrenching in the cold no more!!!

Same thing. You still have to take the glove box to get to it. Otherwise you might be talking about something else.

I remember when some of the fan speeds weren't working on my CRX, I had to replace the resistor which was about the size of a USB flash drive. It wasn't mounted on the actual blower either, but on the sheet metal by the door frame.

But it doesn't matter anymore, glad you got it taken care of .
