Default vafc question

after i installed my vafc, sometimes i keep throwing code 3 which is map sensor. all connections to vafc are soldered, just wondering if any of you guys have this same problem before.

this is on a 94 integra gsr.

It's been awhile since I used a vafc, but it doesnt actually modify the MAP sensor as I recall, so you might check your wiring.

you might have your wires backwards. it mods you map signal

well i've checked it several times, and its correct at first i thought the connection was intermitent, so i pulled it all off and resoldered it. It dont do it all the time, just on cooler nights when i'm in the higher rpm in third or fourth. When it does it, my afr's get super rich as low as 10.9's, then i shut off the car, turn it back on and it drives normal, if not it will run rich as long as i drive it. I'm kinda stumped, when its running fine afr is at about 13.1 all the way across, most fuel added is 8% between 6500 and 7k other spots are like 3-5%.

and yea it modify's the map sensor signal.

do you have mods done to you car ?? if not i would do away with the vafc just to make sure thats not causing it

i know people from seattle but i dont know any moua's in that area. I have a cousin here name John Moua LOL
