93 Del Sol Si / tw
SOLD!
1993 Del Sol, Samba Green Pearl. This a very fun car to drive. It is competitive in the Street Touring Sport Class in which I have Autocrossed, with the SCCA in Milwaukee. Not driven in winter or rain if possible. Unfortunately, life is getting ahead of my hobbies and its time to let it go.
Car has minor modifications:
Full Exhaust:
-OBX R Catback system. (greddy evo 2 knock off)
-Megan Header.
Suspension:
-Ground Control Coilovers.
-KYB AGX Struts. (less than 10k on them)
-Skunk2 Camber Kit.
-ES Bushings in front suspension and motor mounts.
Intake:
-AEM WAI System.
Wheels/Tires:
-15" Sport Edition Wheels. (painted white)
-Dunlop Z1 Star Specs. (85% left) Amazing Tires.
Interior:
-Alpine Deck, iPod ready.
-Pioneer Speakers all the way around.
-TRUST Shift ****. (jdm Greddy i guess)
-Rear wing has been removed. Looks better that way. Included.
Recent Maintenance:
-Transmission Refresh:
Mainshaft bearings replaced,
Transmission, main and axle seals replaced.
-ES Bushings in the front end.
-Spark Plugs.
-Fuel filter.
-Alignment.
-New Headlights
-Ball joints.
-Tie rod ends.
-Struts.
-Battery
Water Pump, Timing Belt, Timing Belt Tensionor, Head Gasket.
Compression test done after Head Gasket was 190 across the board.
Burns a little oil in VTEC.
Car is solid except for those items listed below:
Repairs Needed:
-Front Bumper is cracked.
-Drivers fender has small dent. (worst case $700 for new bumper and fender with paint)
-Surface rust on rear quarters.
Despite the damage, I believe this is one of the cleaner Del Sols Ive seen in Wisconsin. If you look closely to the pictures you can see the bumper damage, but the bumper is still intact and in ok shape.
Looking to get $3,500 O.B.O.
158,XXX on original d16z6 and chassis.
Thanks for looking.

OMG Samba! I would of totally picked this up a week ago if I had seen it. I just bought a Captiva blue sol in roughly the same condition and mods, weird.
Pm me a asking price though please.
GLWS bro.

Thanks for the kind words. The car sits exactly as described and the last two pictures are from this last weekend. The price is O.B.O. people. I know someone wants a removable top for the summer
Nice looking machine, love the color. Btw, the del sol is notorious for increased chassis deflection when running without the top. Might help your times next time you autocross(if you don't sell first). Good luck with sale!
I can vouch for the Sol deflection theory. But fortunately, I run at Miller Park where the lots are near perfect condition, so I don't notice the chassis deflection unless i hit a good bump on the street. I've always known about it from personal experience, but I couldn't have worded it better. Thanks!
