"axle bearing"? you mean outer cv joint?

just buy the right axle now that you know. or switch out hubs and wheel bearings, and/or the whole knuckle.

nobody takes the outer CV joint off. its too much work. it takes a good amount of whacking. its a lot easier to just get the right axle. so probably no one has EVER tried. but my guess is that its possible if the shaft diameter is the same. why dont you measure? or you wont know until someone else tries.

and quite frankly. your communication skills are horrible. i can barely understand your situation and dont get why youre asking it.

my buddy and i tried. his trans blew up and we had to "make" one axle out to two std axles. one had a torn innter boot and the other he couldn't find the right size axle nut for. we beat the living **** out of the outer end before giving up, never got it to budge.

yeah i tried to take off the outer joint before and wasnt successful.

but i figure the OP wouldnt listen anyway. seemed like he was intent on trying if there was any chance he could save himself $60 for a new, proper axle...
