so confused, random codes
PLEASE READ
so i throw a b16 in my 96 lx 4dr, use my same wiring harness with an obd1 jumber. wire up vtec solenoid and pressure switch, runs great for the test drive. go to work in the morning and it dies a mile from home. push it up hill 1 mile back to my house and after work i replace the coil and it starts right up. head to the gym, same ****, 1 mile away the coil blows again, so i figure it's just a bad dizzy, replace the hole dizzy and it idles better to, so i figured it was a bad dizzy, 200 yards from my house the vss and signal output code turn on, so i'm thinking my luck is that bad, i change out the vss and it still doesn't work. so at this point i'm thinking what if my computer is bad, swap out the computer and vss works, but it is a stock pr3 so it's throwing a o2 code and super rich, so for ***** and giggles i try my chipped comp again and everythings working. 200 yards from my house the alternator stops charging and my lights dim, volts drop to 12 while driving, so now i'm thinking it's a ground causing the computer to tweak out, check all the grounds and there good. check the voltage againg and it's back up to 14 some how. go drive it and right back down to 12, go over 3500 and it's back up to 14. so i just reset the chipped comp by unplugging it and it runs great again, backing out of my drive way the idle goes to **** and while driving the vss kicks on and off. i have checked my wireing a couple times, i am out of ideas and really need my car for work. so if anyone has had the problem please let me know what worked for you, or if you have any ideas of why my computer is throwing random codes and telling my alt to stop charging

ha so i figured it out, my chipped computer doesn't use either of the o2 sensors, so instead of adding wires for the vtec solenoid and pressure switch i de-pinned both at the computer and at the o2 plugs and used them for vtec sol. and pres.. well it turns out one of the wires i use is shared else where on the engine harness. so i learned my lesson on this one. if you plan on using existing wires on the harnes make sure they are isolated.
