Default B20Z SETUP?

First of all not to sure if this is the right place for be posting it. But here I go.

Bought a complete 2001 B20 block for 300 bucks and planning on goin B20VTEC. First time trying it. And I'm goin to start working on the block first and the vtec head latter. But planning on using a B16 head. I know that the B20z already comes with a knock sender and a little more high compression then the older motors. But I want to go higher compression. Was wondering what's the best setup to be using. As in what pistons should I use? I need to know the exact specs and size of what's goo to use if thTs possible. I don't wanna F_ck up that's y. Thanks.

Go with the RS Machine ITR pistons in 84mm bore and you'll be set!

Not sure. If a B20Z is 9.6:1 stock and the RS machined Type R pistons come with this information:

S Machine B20 Type R Piston *Specs based off 84mm Piston
Piston Specs
Data/mm
Top Land
.250
Step
.019
Dome Height
.100
Oil To Fill
12.2
Net CCS
1.3

Compression Ratio Table : RS B20 Type R Pistons
Engine/Motor Type
Compression Ratio
GSR B18C
11.75:1
LS / B16
11.7:1
LS / GSR
11.9:1
LS B18A/B
11.2:1
B16
10.35:1

I could confidently say that you would be in the ballpark of 11:1
