Default wanting to put f20b in my 99 accord 4dr

Hi im a nooby here wanting to put JDM f20b in my 99 accord 4dr 5sp it's a vtec sohc f 23 now. My 1st Q is how bad is it to wire this combo ? also i know the f20b does not have crank sensor its in distributor anyway. Will my distributor wires go to the f20b plugs wires like red to red green to green or can i run stock diz from f23 sohc or what ? any advice will be greatly appreciated . I'm wanting to do this because i found a good deal on a f20b 5sp lsd and ecu. The guy said it will drop right in just wire in my distributor wires to the f20b plug and the ecu make up for no crank sensor, wire in 1 extra knock sensor and 3 wires from vtec to ecu. Is this true or just a bunch of crap to sell me the engine. PLEASE HELP

Its been done before. There's a guy over at Superhonda dot com who did this in his 98-01 Accord. He knows more about this. His s/n starts with something like 91Exxxx. Post a up a thread in the Accord section, and he'll help you out.

you can also check out cb7tuner. this swap was done in a 90 accord, there should be threads to help walk you through.

Its pretty much the same as an H22 swap except that the Dizzy Wiring will be the confusing part.

You'll have to lengthen the IACV wire, EGR Valve wire, O2 Sensor wire, and the FIA solenoid valve wire. Also, you'll need to swap out the upper radiator water neck from your old F23 to the F20B; since, the F20B doesn't come with the sensor built into the water neck. You'll need to wire up Knock & IAB sensors as well if you're using the stock JDM F20B ECU. Those are the ones I remember doing. There might be a few that I'm missing. I have no clue on how to wire up the dizzy; I figure it might be the same since both are OBD2s.

But i had another thought on it do you think i could use the f20b harness if i just extended the whole harness to fit in my car or would that not be wise Thanks again
