Turned crankshaft pulley wrong direction...
I'm doing a timing belt change on an 96 Accord F22b2, and trying to set cylinder 1 to TDC.
I turned the crankpulley *clockwise* a few time and noticed that I was suppose to turn it *counter clockwise* did I fubar the valves?
when the camshaft pulley is aligned with the UP and side markings all lined up. How do i know I'm on cylinder 1?
Thanks

highly doubtful that you messed anything up by turning the crank by hand regardless of direction.
if your crank pulley and cam gears are all lined up at the tdc marks, that means you are at tdc of cylinder 1, thats why the marks are there. sounds like you have everything good to go.

Just lining up the cam marks without paying attention to the TDC mark on the flywheel isn't enough. The TDC mark mark on the flywheel has to be lined up with the sight on the block for #1 to be at TDC, then "UP" on the cam should be up and the marks aligned with the head surface for the cam to be timed correctly.
