Default Installing AC on my integra?

I still have my AC compressor from my engine swap but I never put it back on. Well, its freakin' hot where Im from and I need my AC.

Aside from the obvious bolting up and belt installation, what is the proper way to reintegrate the AC back into my car?

No I didnt search, because the search function has been rendered a useless POS with this new site layout...

You really need to get it professionally charged (they suck all the air/moisture out of the system under vacuum and then charge it to proper spec....nearly impossible once the system has been opened). On top of that, you will need to replace the little silver can (the accumulator, though I believe honda has a different name for it). Anyway, it takes moisture out of the system and allows for oil to sit in it for properly lubrication. I just filled mine this past time (doing none of the above) and it blows so-so cold air. On a 95 degree day it might keep the cabin around 80-85....which is still warm. This is on a black car though.

Thanks for the reply.

So I can bolt all the parts on myself and just have someone charge it? I was really hoping for a detailed writeup on this..

Can you tell me all of the involved parts? I know there is tensioner right?

Yes, install everything yourself and then take it to an AC shop to be charged (might call Honda too). What all did you take off/remove and what chassis/swap do you have?

I didnt actually take it off myself so im not 100 percent sure. It was taken off years ago, then after the shop quoted me 3200 I said F yall and went to auto school and did all the work myself. I just never reinstalled the condensor, to my own peril.

But I see all the AC lines are intact. I have the Condensor, tensioner (I guess) and bolts.

I have a 99 JDM B20 in my 96 DC2

The condensor is from my old b18c1
