Sexy gold oil cap lol

Still have to sand off the lettering, then paint them white... very carefully ha

nice!! you should check in to getting Wrinkle paint for the OEM look. They have some red that is closer to the OEM Red color 2 that looks pretty ****!

Hey thanks man, Yeah i was going to get some wrinkle paint, but auto zone and advance auto didn't carry it. And i didn't feel like goin to home depot haha. It's a high enamel paint so.. yeah, it looks a hell of alot better than it did

It's got kind of a lot of orange peel. I mean it looks ok, but spray paint never lays down perfect. If you wet sand it it would look glossier.

It's the lighting and camera that gives it the orange glow to it.. It is actually a very sharp red

Haha it's cool. I really think if i would of spent more time on it it would look a hell of a lot better. but i guess i didn't have enough patience ha

You know what i did with my VC before i used wrinkle paint i sprayed from a distance and let the particles build up sort of like over spray
and let it dry then tried again
and it looked very much like a powder coat look wait like 5 min or so between sprays you should try that and see how it looks.

He doesn't mean it looks orange, he means orange peel. If you look in your first pic where the light hits above the #2 & #4 spark plug holes you will see the peel. Like he said a wetsand using real fine sandpapwer would help clean it up. The only spray paint that I have actually seen "flatten" out as it dries and have no orange peel is this Blk trim paint I bought at a body shop to repaint my moldings on my car..that stuff would go on and have peel in it, once dried would be totally flat and did after each coat. Stuff was worth 10 bucks for the can IMO.
