Default Might need a new motor!

I have been having problems with burning oil. A few weeks back I got my valve seals replaced cause that what was diagnosed, so then Monday I check my OIL, there is nothing on the stick, so I put in 2 quarts, I went on a trip toi take my GF back to school, it was about 500 miles and when I checked it last night there was nothing on the stick and this morning there was a tiny drop on it. So I called my mechanic and he said that it could be my piston rings and if the valve walls are damaged it would cheaper to get a new motor.

What you do? Trade it in and try to find a Type-R or same as mine or, get an ITR engine put in.

Where can find prices on engines?

Thanks, Mike

Have a look at the Import Builders website, they have some nice crated engines from mild to wild. (Prices are also comparable to excruciating).

Seriously don't get the same stock engine back, this is a good time to upgrade.

I was thinking about this one as a good replacement for a GS-R motor:

Package 4: Type-R "killer" Hydro "OEM" Honda Budget Motor.
Tranny included. No core required.
This is a HIGH PERFORMANCE total rebuild package for those of you that are sick of getting used motors that don't last. This package includes Import Builders completely revamping the motor. LS/VTEC of course.. Because that's the best motor in the world for the money...Type-R pistons, new bearings, new seals, new oil pump, new water pump, new timing belt, new head gasket, new valvetrain, new type-R cams, new clutch. Type-R intake manifold, ECU..chipped...FPR
**no mounts, no linkage, no axles.
Priced to compete with Type-R swaps...which it destroys...no reason to buy a type-r motor when you can buy this...which is exactly why we have this.
OPTIONS: JG Edelbrock, IB modified Header add $525
Tuning options!: Have US install, break in the motor AND tune it, HERE!! Ask for pricing! Then we ship, you install, and that's it! Go race! $1100 (comes with Hondata stage 2 then)
EST: 170-180 WHP/125 TQ (we have seen as high as 190, same build)
We are conservative...
Price: $5900 shipped.
