Today I was gutting my boy's ef civic sitting in my driveway. He wants it to be a 'race car', complete with a b16, open header and no interior. He knows I'm a car nut so he looked to me to do all the work for him. After busting my *** on rusted bolts, removing junky destroyed seats marked with stains older then me, sweating while tearing out the rear panels, removing the carpeting, breathing 20 year old dust and broken seat foam pieces, scratching my head as to how to remove the back seat without ruining it, and having a generally bad time, I finally moved to the the trunk to finish the job. While ripping out parts trying my best not to break any of the chintzy 80's plastic I uncovered a pleasant surprise. Under the spare tire cover, lied some sparkling metallic buried treasure. The overhead midday sun shined its light on 6 magnificent unopened Coors Light cans (My favorite:up::up complete with "cold activated" blue can technology. It was a little win for me, a reward karma put there for all my hard work. After spending this past year building an Ls1 Miata, this expirence reminded me why I love Honda's so much and everything about them.
