Car is a 98 Dx hatchback with drums. Noticed there was no pressure, so bled the brakes.
Car was sitting for about 5 months...

Pedal is still mooshy after install of new master cylinder. No fluid is leaking and there is no air bubbles. What else could it be H-T need to drive this car asap.

 

no fluid is leaking where? did you check the seals on the rear wheel cylinders? or check for fluid leaking on the backing plate of the rear wheel cylinders?

and was it ever firm when you bled the brakes?

 

are the caliper slide's free ?? can you move the brake pad's in the saddle ? are the rear brake's properly adjusted ? (this can have alot of effect on pedal feel) and your flex line's could be expanding too much hope this help's

 

Yes brake was mushy the whole time it gets a little harder when car is off but when engine is running its like butter. Rear cylinders were replaced. How would I go about checking the front calipers I just see if I can slide the pads?

 

i find it best to unbolt the caliper then you can try moving the lower slide and make sure the upper slides on the pin. make sure pad's worn evenly see if you can easly remove the pad from the saddle alot of time's rust bulids up under the stainless shims that the pad sits on and puts to much pressure on the pad. also good to push back the caliper piston to make sure it's not siezed

 

if the calipers are even qustionable change them, i killed myself for a week trying to figure out why my eg had no pedal and it was the front calipers.

Did you make sure to bench-bleed the master cylinder when you bought it? If you don't-you'll get air bubbles in the system that take forever to get out...

Installed new brake booster and bled brakes, problem is still persisting what could it be H-T?

 

I find it impossible to bench bleed the master cylinder before putting it in. I am almost certain you still have air in your brakes.

You need to bleed it while it's hook up by pumping the pedal and cracking open the screw on the master cylinder. Rotating between the two.Took me bout 30 minutes. Try that.

Had similar prob, took me a week to figure out, fixed the prob by getting NEW (not re-man MC)

 

Gonna drive it to the shop and hook it up to bleeder machine see what happens Thanks H-T
