Okay I just ordered some Skunk2 sport shocks for my EK,
which would be part # 541-05-1220
on the box how ever the part number is 541-05-0010.

and shows all eg dc and ek years.

Are they all the same thing?? I mean the real part number on the box is 541-05-0010.
is that a common part number for sport shocks for dc, eg and ek?

 

because skunk2 shocks are made for all three models, but with the EK they include washers for the rears. the instructions will tell you how to install it but it's pretty straightforward.

 

oooh okay cool thanks. where do you install the washers?

 

where the shocks mount onto the rear lcas.

 

okay cool i know where that is.. just out of curiousity why is it only for ek is it because there is is space between the s2 shock mount and the ek LCA btw I have aftermarket omni power LCA.

 

for ek's its thinner, and the eg/dc is wider, which is why washers are added to make them "thinner".
