Semi-Interesting fact about the Integra Dome lights
I noticed this the other day, the dome lights are a little bit brighter when in the ON position rather than the automatic on when door is open position. Probably 5-10% difference.

Was the engine running during both situations. If not one was done when the alternator was supplying the current and the other when the battery alone was supplying the current. Might explain the difference.

I replaced mine with a higer wattage bulb from the local auto parts place. stock is 4 watts, I think... put an 8 watt bulb in there and CAN notice a difference for like the buck or so it cost me.
its b/c in ON it gets straight 12v w/o have to go through a relay (the one that is tripped by the door)
i have 10,000,000,000,000,000 candle power bulbs to fit the dome light holder, only thing is they melt the roof when on and you'll go blind if you look at them!
The bulb is constantly supplied with 12V. When you turn the light on via the switch at the light you completing a ground through the switch. The door switch does the exact same thing, except that the ground is through a long piece of wire, which has resistance. Therefore some of the voltage is dropped across the wire due to the resistance of the wire. The ground path of the switch at the light is a short path to ground and will have much lower resistance than the long ground wire, so more voltage is dropped across the filament of the bulb, thus it will be brighter.
