DPFI to MPFI ?'s
i have a couple questions...
this is my first real engine mod to my sedan so dont hate, please.
i only want to convert to mpfi cus i hate wiring
i want to make my b2 faster.
so far it has I/H/E
intake is useless cus its on dpfi.
my real questions are...
can i just put a z6 head and y8 intake manifold and wire it on an SI 91 ecu?
can i put a y7 head and b7 intake manifold so i dont need to wire vtec on a 89 integra ecu or 91 si ecu?
is there a specific resistor box i need to use?
i read you can eliminate using a resistor box by using odb1 injectors?
do i have to convert to obd1 to use the injectors?
please and thanks and very appreciated.

if you change to either of the intake manifolds listed you dont need a resistor box. the trouble lies in the distibutor selection. the y7 head you could use an si distributor. with the pm6 ecu. if you use the z6 head you need a z6 dizzy unless you wanna bold it on ghetto with one bold and then you would need to upgrade to obd1. cheapest and easiest will be the first option. if you plannin on keepin it skip the bs n go obd1.
i searched i read all of that.

so i can use a y7 and si dizzy and a pm6 ecu.
thanks man.
so this is what i got so far?
will this work...
a y7 head.
si dizzy
pm6 ecu or 89 integra ecu
& y7 intake manifold or y8 manifold?
i dont need a resistor box just the injectors for the y8 or y7?
right!?
and now with that said all it is,is wiring now?
please and thanks.
i just need reassuring this is my daily thats why i need it done in one night and driven the next morning.aha

the best thing u could do is to just multiport it first...get an si dizzy, ecu, manifold, injectors with fuel rail and a resistor box leave the stock b2 head on there for now....find the d.i.y in the faq and do the wiring, its pretty easy to do.... get it running then do some more research and if u feel confident u can convert to obd1 and the do the vtec swap.

nah im scared to go vtec im stayin non v for a long time.
even wen i go B ima stay non v
ha
to lessen my wallet size a bit.
how about i just get a y8 manifold and si ecu can i do that?just to MP
and keep the b2 block nd head for a bit.
