is 160k too much on a 94 ls
this guy wants to trade me his car for my car. i have a 94 accord lx sedan w/111k. he has a 94 ls w/160k+. would it be wise to trade cars or do yall think i should pass on this?
no, i don't have 2g's, but the shops around here are willing to work a deal out as far as i know. so should i or should i wait for somethin else.
depends on how the car was driven, and maintained. i have 150 k on my car and it runs very strong. and dose not use a drop of oil between oil changes.
other opinion i have is why buy a car with low mileage for a premium, if you are going to upgrade everything.
even if you buy a good high milege car (no major accidents) in decent condition, you can upgrade while stuff breaks on you.
but if u just want a reliable car, buy a low milege car.

if i was in your situation i would do it....... spend $900 on a new B20b/z longblock from Hondamotorsonline. With that integra it sould be a simple bolt on-off. seriousley a good deal. it cost was to much to get that accord to be fast.
keep the accord and put a H22 in it. with a car with that many miles you might find yourself having to fix alot of things. if u keep the accord u know whats been done and you'll save $$ in the loing run. i think the accord would be a kick *** car with a H22 and some suspension work done to it.

Rebuild the block and find a vtec head. LS\VTEC would be a nice investment if done correctly. Close to the same power as a H22 but with 500 lbs or so less weight going with the integra over accord.

thanks to everybody for the info. now my next question is: if i get the teg i'm gonna be lookin at some steep insurance. i'm 19, no tickets, no accidents, no criminal history, and good credit. what insurance agency should i go through to get the cheapest insurance? keep in mind i live i SA, TX, so if it's a little agency that only exists in your town or state it's not gonna help me very much.
