alright i have posted this before but here we go again i replaced the head gasket on my 92 civic dx (d15b7) put everything back together and started it up and everything was working fine i go back down the next day and try to turn it over and nothing i have put new spark plugs in also it has spark i have checked over and over it has fuel also i checked that and the compression is fine also i cant think of anything that could be wrong with it. i have been told to check the ignition coil but if it has spark how would the ignition coil be bad im at lost here i tried starting fluid also nothing there

 

also i checked the timing and played with it and its on point perfect so i know for sure its not the timing

U don't have a CEL at all? Is ur CEL coming on for 2/3 seconds when u turn the key on then going out? Is the CEL bright or really dim?

 

ya it comes on for like 2 seconds when i turn it over than goes away right away and its really bright not dim at all

 

Well I would have to say check the ground on the thermostat housing but I have my doughts that that is the problem.

 

can u think of anything else i checked the valve lash and its fine also the car does have bad wiring the guy who had it before me ****ed it all up

 

It would b easyer if I looked at it for myself but I am out of town right now.

 

my last name is garcia too.... my friends car didnt start and he replaced the main relay... try using someones relays and try them out and see if thats it

Oh Shhh*t if the wiring has been redone u could have a list of problems, I would definently need to c it then.

To look at it wouldn't b a big deal so no charge but if I have to rewire things (like I usually do) ur looking at $50+
