Default Mini Me Swap help....suggestions

alright so im about to pick up a y8 head. my question. what ecu should i run? i got different ppl tellin me to run different ecus, and if i run this it will not run right blah blah and so forth. and dont say just go b series. im experimenting with d series....its what i want to do. if you have done a mini me swap and it ran PERFECT please let me know. i do not want to throw this head on and have it run shitty. i really dont have time to be messin around and playing trial and error.
