Default bad knock and grind - dies when push clutch

for the past week it has had a bad knock.. mainly at high rev

today driving home it starting stalling a bit then something gave out. There is a bad knock/grind/wind like something is hung up but it runs if i give it a little gas.. but dies when i push the clutch to shift.

did i throw a bearing?

1990 civic hatch
DOHC ZC swap

its not timing. its not alternator. its nothing in the head.

I would say yes, but probably not in your engine since your clutch has nothing to do with crank shaft bearings.....
Sounds like a Tranny problem. Maybe your Throw Out Bearing or Input Shaft.
Either way you're pulling the tranny apart
