A few RX-7 TT driving friends and I are heading to cecil county dragway tommorrow night for some straight line fun. I've never raced the arrr before, so I'm a little nervous, but still excited. Although he's not bringing the Quest - the tranny's on it's last legs.
I think he's gonna bring his two-wheeled transportation
2001 R6 - ~380 lbs and 120 hp = 11's all day long!

There should be some interesting FD RX-7's there as well - all should at least run high 12's and one guy should be in the 11's...
I of cours will have the dubious honor of the slowest car there!
Should be fun though.

my quest is missing the #4 conrod bearings... well at least as a whole unit, if you added up all the shavings you'd find em

 

I was there 2 years ago right when i got the hatchcrap together..........ran 3 or 4 low 13's...cold as chit in Nov. up there.

lower air pressure in fronts, raise pressure in the back, launching at 5500rpm has netted me the fastest times in a friends 97 R (14.1-14.2), feather at first then dump. but try other ways, people are fastest using different methods.

 

I think Carroll County has taken over, as well as having one of the highest incest rates in the US.
