Hey everyone the car is a 95 EJ2 and since i bought it a year and a half ago the SRS (airbag) lights been on and im now tired of it and i was wondering how to check the codes or figure out whats wrong with it ?

good luck man, the same thing happened to my brother's 2000 ej8 and we have yet to find out what the problem is. if you find it though i would like to know also, maybe the same thing could cause it in both obd1 and obd2

Factory wheel? Does your horn work? If not, your cable reel is probably damaged and will need to be replaced. If it does, you should be able to reset the SRS light. The helms manual tells you how to do this. Search the forum for "reset srs light" and I'm pretty sure you'll find a posting of that page of the manual. GL

yes its the factory wheel and the horn works too......but i want to read the code to know whats wrong with it before i reset it.....hows that done ?

Here is your answer. The connector is oriented 180 degrees differently than the RSX, but the procedure and codes are the same. GL.

There is no way to know what is causing it...

 

My buddy just unplugged the yellow plug on the back of the cluster and *WHOALAH*, no more srs light

 

yeah i would just unplug it from behind the cluster
