Default Hondata S100 or Crome

I am not sure what what the best why to go is? I don't need to hear "get the S300" what will work best for my set up.
I have Crome dealer, Ostrich 2.0, burn 2, hulog..that being said what will give me a better tune, I will not be tuning this I will be taking it to a local tuner.
My current setup is as follows:
stock B18C1
550cc injectors
57trim turbo
10-12psi
3" EX

Since you are taking it to a local tuner, I would suggest asking him what he suggests for your setup.

I would suggest NepTune Eprom or something similar, you would just need to find a dealer near you. It is cheaper than the S100 and MUCH better than Crome.

I guess I should reword my question, From what i understand the S100 is simply an over priced chip that allows the tuner to use Hondata software. can I achive the same tune ( meaning drivabilty) using Crome?

No, S100 is better coding then crome. Some will say it is the same, but it is infact not. NepTune, EcTune and hondata are better options then crome will ever be.

Am I correct that the S100 is a chip that plugs into the C2 port?

Yes, it goes into CN2. It is mostly a security device so you can not burn hondata chips without paying for S100.

Eprom goes into the same location as all chipped based ECUs.

Yes, you can. It will be the same as doing a chip.

I would much rather use CROME than Hondata S100, I just sold my S100 for $50 as a matter of fact. To me crome is user friendly and best of all MUCH cheaper than Hondata!

I cant believe that you just mentioned crome over hondata. Chrome is like the red headed step child when it comes to the different boards that you can purchase. The only thing I use chrome for is a base map, I mean you can purchase it for free now days so that should sum it up for you.

I had hondata and I really hate their rediculous prices, I had a S100/200 system and it won't work with the new romeditor 4, all they had to say was "purchase an S300" then that rediculous cable you have to buy from them just to tune. CROME works great, its free and is just as easy to use, whats the problem? I have NEVER ran into an issue with CROME and my tunes.
