No need to...you shouldn't be making peak power much above 8k.

If, i´ll explain you the real motive, you´ll call me crazy.

But, i hit the rev limit in 5º gear very fast at 260 Km/h.
If i can rev to 9500 rpm i´ll probably go over 275 Km/h, wich will kill any S2000 or a super scobye in 5º gear too.
Hey, a ITR of a friend of mine, with i/e/h with Power FC cuts with stock valvetrain at 9100 rpm.
He has power to go over that rpm.

We have a 13 Km bridge, you can run there over 300 km/h, i´m having fuel cut off in 5º gear at 8650 rpm, that´s when S2000´s and Scobyes go further.

Hey, don´t kill me for this. I like to mod my ITR to hit high speeds, this is like Japan, you can hit 300 Km/h and no prob. Of course ther´s always safety problems, but there weren´t any problems yet.

Don´t kill me for my honesty.

I rebuilt the engine a month ago.
Some valves were not properly laped, so i´m having a leak on the #1 cilinder, 35% loss in my compression numbers test.

In the last rebuilt i changed the #2-#3 cilinder valves. #1 and #4 are giving me low compression numbers.

Yes, those are the stock OEM valves.
I expect to show you a pic in rear future like 275-280 Km/h.

I know this does NOT compare but a 88-91 CRX at 150 mph or 230 kmh get's VERY SKETCHY!!!! Here I am on my way to 230kmh, a few moments after this photo the speedo was @ 6:00!!!!! I'll be running a Mugen N1 ECU soon in this setup with an rpm limit of 9200rpm.....hoping to hit a solid 240kmh!!!!!!NOT bad for a B16 with I/H/E and ECU.

You can see by the blurring...things are starting to get very uneasy!!!!! Man those EF's are light and this isn't even an HF!!!!!!

Speed's wicked eh Pinota....can't get enough!!!

Hmmm. Why is your trunk lid warning light on? Too much downforce on the rear spoiler?

..............Doesn't that just promote a "high rpm" life style!

When i rev up to that rpm i usually open the trunk, it gives me more down force.
