I got a LS VTEC(rebuild) (stock rods, pistons, ARP rod bolts, B16 head.)
I want to run it with a T3/T457trim. turbo, Pfab log style header.
Question: How much psi can handle the stock internals (on E85)
In which hp range it would be at 9psi?

never go by psi , that **** means nothing, give us the turbo and we can tell you how much power your going to put out at 9psi along with your setup. all turbo sizes are different and put out more power than others

 

i heard about 20 psi with a map sensor bypass

 

You cant go off how much psi a motor can handle, it goes off hp. With a 57trim turbo at 9psi with your setup you'll be seeing between 270 and 330 whp. depending on the tune and how well your setup is put together. As for how much power you can push out of the motor with stock internals i would stop around 350-370hp to be safe, that is if you plan to run more boost. Just dont cheap out on a tune and get a good tuner and you'll be safe.

 

i would think as much as your tuner can get while being on the safe side for HP. I would also think you could get near 380-400 on that with 1000cc injectors wich you didnt list what you currently have.

 

He lists it right in his paragraph. stock rods, pistons, stock b16 head. 57trim turbo. log manifold not much more to list other than injector size.. But 750cc or higher is what you'll need. sanman. Unless thats what you meant when saying he didnt list what he currently had.

 

a lot of it is up to the tuner what is safe for your motor!

free bump for this thread, im wondering the same thing about my lsVtec... only mine has a GSR head and id be running on a T04B turbocharger...custom setup with 440cc injectors...Only trying to make 250whp for daily driving, however many psi that takes...as long as its safe.

actually i run 500cc injectors on my stock B16 Turbo on E85, the LS gets 1000cc.
I have change my mind. Now i built the LS with forget rods and pistons.

I was runnig my eg gt30 at 22 pounds over 400hp no problem. Stock sleeve, everything else built. Hit I miss I guess

i ran 10psi throughy my t3/t4 57 trim.. stock 96 ls made 300 to the wheels... tuned on previous motor which was a fully built b16 ... if i had it tuned with the ls im sure i could hit the 330-350 mark with no problem... psi doesnt matter... its your tune that does the most

 

although it has been done, your reply here doesnt answer EVERY FI QUESTION.

please put a little more thought into it.

 

I don't think he needs that much injector.
