k after seeing the lip/ side skirts thread for ef i want to see a write up on how to install eg side skirts or any in that case. please help your ef bros.

 

1. Obtain EG sideskirts.
2. Hold them up to your hatch/ wagon / sedan / CRX etc
3. Cut off the excess.
4. choose your adhesive, double sided tape? Glue? Nails? Miscellaneous?
5. Profit.

 

one of these weekends i plan on installing my ek sides. if i ever get around to it ill prob make a DIY.

 

do it. im too lazy to hold em up to it and figure it out

 

If you need a write up on how to attach a side skirt you most likely dont need to be attempting anything that far over your intelligence level.

 

k... i already started cuttin them and lookin like they are ready to be added but im stuck. idk wether i should make it reach all the way up to the door or right under where the car starts to curve in. also i dont want to just screw some screws and call it good i was checkin if there was a cleaner way to install them. and fyi i started doin this way before i posted this up. im just playin it smart.

 

If you cut them so they fit under the doors, most of the time you'll have to raise the doors on their hinges so they don't scrape on them hard. If you cut them short though, you risk the door hitting the skirt when you open them up.

 

so do you cut all the part that goes in on the top?

i cut the section that would normally go onto the door on the eg side skirts. i held it up and looks ready to install i just dont know how to add them. would a pic of how its cut would help you let me kno
