Valve stem seal leak question! please help!
Alright, I recently completed my first engine swap, a b18b into a 1995 civic coupe. Every thing is good expect for the oil on my spark plugs problem and excessive oil consumption. Every spark plug drips with oil. Once cleaned/replaced in a very short time, they are dripping with oil again. I have replaced the tube seals and no improvement. This leads me to believe that the valve stem seals are the problem. I am about to replace them but I would like to ask a couple question first because I dont have money to waste at the moment....
If the car hasnt been driven for a day or two, my RPM will be very high.
EX: 5th gear at 70mph with RPM at about 2750...
Once I have driven the car about 60 miles my RPM will drop to about 2250 at the same speed and gear. Im thinking this is because during the first miles of driving, the oil that has leaked wile the car wasn't in use is getting burnt up, and after a wile of driving the leaked oil is mostly gone.
Does this sound like its because of the valve stem seals?
One more question, that may sound silly, is would this problem affect the cars performance? I only have a straight pipe exhaust that came with the civic shell, but it seems like the car should be faster then it is...but I may have had higher hopes.
Please help me out guys because yall know a lot more then me. Thanks!

That could be, I know for fact that when you start your car in the morning and you see BLUE smoke and it goes away once you rev it up thats valve steam seals. Make sure you use good vavle cover gaskets

Replace those valve seals, I think for all 16 seals it cost me under $30 from the dealer. Then the cost of the overhead valve spring compressor was like $20. You can do this with the head still on the car. Just be careful not to lose any valve keepers (use a magnetic pick-up tool to remover them) and don't let the valve push down in the guide and into the cylinder.
