have an 91 integra GS this morning after a normal start the oil pressure idiot light started lighty glowing then coming in harder . instantly turn off engine !!! Checked oil level good , running Mobile 1 since new 10-40 SYN 130k mi great service . then restart dashlight on then clears i/2 second 1 second later dash light starts lightly glowing engine sounds fine ? rev slightly know change , immediately shut off .look at factory manual change sensor new acura part know change . Whats next????? start crying thanks

first off, calm down and type slow.. we can tell you're in a panic coz your grammar went to **** at the end of your post... i can barely understand what you're trying to say putting "know" when you meant "no".

second, it's probably not the sensor but the wire from your sender going to your gauge. maybe the contacts are dirty or something.

 

checked fuses#23 ,#24 ok .The running voltage at Batt. is 14.38 VDC and at the wire to ground at the new sensor its 11.57 VDC .According to the manual it said the voltage reg. problem ? is this possible or do I read the manual wrong since I'm a shade tree mechanic with extremely poor writting skills thanks very much for your patients !!

 

I'm web illiterate thats why I'm a newbie. somewhere my last email went by my key mis-stroke, I tested the car with an mechanical guage 75 psi over 3000 rpms ,35 psi fully warmed up idle ., then new installed sensors closed start car sensors open switch perfect . Acura manual said voltage regulator ???
