My 2005 Odyssey has 61,000 miles on it and all of the pads and the rear rotors need to be replaced. I replaced the front rotors near 30,000 miles because they were worn thin.

Anyway, I looked at a parts site and there are two sets of front pads listed for the 2005 Odyssey.

Does anyone know the difference between the pads? All of the pads seemed to be semimetallic with copper colored bits in them. I am tempted to switch to an aftermarket ceramic pad, but 60,000+ miles is a great lifetime.

 

I found a TSB regarding this. My pads did groan at low speeds, especially going down hill. I just hope the reformulated pads last as long.
