FS: Spoon ECU & B16B Pistons(new)
Im selling my Spoon ECU now as i bought a p30 with Hondata.
It fits for my 96-99 EK, so i suppose its a OBD2?
Here's a short note about what the ECU does, found on ek9.org
Spoon ECU learns it is like the oem Honda but the final results are more aggressive than oem. They reccomend 98+ fuel but i have. The ECU leans the best map taking into account pre detination, air fuel ratio and temp etc. It starts with a basic map and keeps kinda testing the limits until it reaches limits that is to spoons spec so there more aggressive than standard. So weather or not you have oem cams or spoon etc it kinda uses what it has to get best results. If you get new mods etc just reset it (turn it off!) and it'l re learn the best maps and fuel mixes... Its that good! so it takes into account temp etc alot more than reprogrammable ECUs do as they are tuned on dyno for spec conditions... Now spoon do have upper limits like if your building like a stage 3 cam type setup a remapable would be far superior but for most the spoon ECU is king.. I'd rather trust years of spoon engineering as apposed to most tuners.
The B16B Pistons are from Nippon Japan, Teflon Coated and Gas Nitrate Piston Rings.
(BRAND NEW)
Pistons goes for 170 usd
ECU goes for 300 usd
Everything together for 400 usd.
