Default eg hatch turbo, horrible traction

ok i 2 step launch at 4800 and spin clear through 2nd and into 3rd, tons of wheelhop. im on cheap coilovers and honda hx wheels and 185 tires. stock suspension otherwise. not sitting ridiculously low. Now, i am ordering 205 tires and some 8x15" rims. think this will help most of my problem? what do you suggest for wheelhop, i've never looked into suspension mods for my car before and frankly if it doesn't do anything noticable for sh*t, it aint worth my dimes. how well do traction bars work, and i've heard something about new motor mounts for wheelhop. educate me on my drag woes. i lost to my bro's 02 ws6 trans am with intake/exhaust... 7 lengths from a stop... but from a 40 roll i destroyed him. this has traction crap needs to end (why oh why didn't i go RWD... lol)

imo you need some stiffer engine mounts.
try taking some air pressure out of the front tires. not sure where the pressure needs to be ..probably at least half of the reccomended psi.
and lower your rpms on takeoff. dont try to beat the guy next to you...try to keep from spinning.
maybe even get some street legal drags.

Everything is working against you.

You need:
Better tires.
Wider tires.
Traction bars.
Stiffer bushings.
Stiffer suspension.
Stiffer engine mounts.

Basically, a stock 15year old suspension designed around a 116hp engine isn't going to handle what you're trying to throw at it.
