Default timing my rex

so i need to check/adjust the timing . got the b18 in my crx and from what i understand i have to jumper two wires under my dash to get into base timing but i cant locate the plug ? any help guys/picture?
also what is base timing for that motor?

the plug is in the passenger footwell by the plastic kickpanel just forward of the door, and is a 2 hole plug, and is usually blue or mustard yellow. less commonly, it is sometimes up by the passenger side shock tower. I think base timing is 18 degrees BTDC.
