Default rsx base motor swap

i just have some questions on swapping my 2002 base rsx. i know that the k20a2 is a bolt in and the k24a2. but im looking to boost so im going to keep the 5spd. i know the k24a2 has more torque but im looking for the easier swap because i cant have much down time due to work. i also wanna keep her dd with the ac and ps. hmotorsonline has the k24a2 for sale and i have heard good things about them and not to badly priced at 1900 but for the k20a2 id probably have to look on k20a.org. but not really the point just wanna get this done and start saving for the boost. thanks

with whichever swap you do you should have k-pro

You can't run the TSX ecu you need a k20 ecu with kpro for the k24

i read that after the swap is done you can take it in to a honda dealer and have them reflash the ecu and set it up for the redline and all that.

Just by the way . I got 2 type s swaps seating at my crip.

But I dont have that much to pay for a kpro.

I think, I only wana change the head gasket . And resurface the head .
Thats the cheapest I can do.
Or at less I can found a.good deal in something better .

dont matter people search and read through old threads

As far as which would be the easier swap k24a1 OR k24a4? Well the k24a1 would be my choice because you can do the rsx head swap easier. The k24a4 needs the pistons to be changed to do a head swap. Swapping them are the same into a Rsx. You need a Crv engine mount bracket on the passenager side. Change your crank angle sensor to the chasis crank angle sensor. Use your Rsx throttle body. Use all your accessories from the Rsx, the water pump, altenator, A/c , power steering, etc. Thats the basic swap covered. You would want a K pro to run it or else it would have cel light on and run light poo.

Kpro should be the first thing you buy, not the last
