1600cc or id1000 goal 650hp on e85?
about to get my car tuned soon...fuel setup walbro intank with 044 inline -10 feed -8 return... i have precision 1600 now are id1000 better for my setup? or should i just stick to my 1600.. looking to make around 650 on e85 with 6262.
i could see it happen.
1000cc (95 lb/hr) @ 45 psi = 134 lb/hr @ 90 psi
134 x .85 = 114 lb/hr x 4 = 456 lb/hr
456/.7 = 651 hp (@ 90 psi base @ 85% duty)
134 x 4 = 537 lb/hr
537/.7 = 767 hp (@ 90 psi base @ 100% duty)
using bsfc of .7

I think a few people on here already tried the ID1000's at 100psi base with an Intank 255hp and an inline 044 and didnt get much over 600whp before they were out of duty using E85.
I would stick with the 1600's.

well the id1000's are close to 1600 with the higher base. maybe with a pretty big turbo and efficient setup it can be done. but yes its cutting it close with 1000's.
2.0 gsr running precision 6262 .82ar. Thanks I'll stick with the 1600. Do I need anything besides resistor box to run them. Will it idle ok

The 1600's will idle better on E85 vs Gasoline due to the increased amount of fuel needed to achieve the same AFR which complements the large amount of fuel 1600's like to spit out at idle.
If you run 100psi base pressure, you'll start running out of pumps around 575-600whp with that combo and ID1000's. Even with the pressure lower, 650whp on E85 is really pushing that fuel pump combo.
Dual walbros and ID2000's would be your best bet and would not be limited in any way, but clearly more expensive.

Running two pumps in series like that increases the pressure capability significantly, but the volume capability only slightly.
Running two pumps in parallel (like a dual walbro in tank setup) increases the volume capability by double but does nothing for the pressure capability.
So, if you need increased fuel pressure to get the power you want out of your injectors, you need a system capable of both high pressure and high flow. If you don't need high pressure for the injectors to be able to supply your needs, then you only need a high volume fuel system.

so with my set-up right how much (safe power) do you think i could make? 650hp is just my goal but not really needed lol
what fuel and injector set-up is my intank and 044 good to use with?

Chuck in a set of ID2000's, at least you'll know you have enough injector and still have good idle for its size. Precision 1600's, and you'll be shooting black smoke out of the tail pipe at idle...lol
I have similar setup
2.0l
t3/t67
1600cc pte
dual walbro intank
goal 600whp
only thing my car runs good on is e85, I wanna be able to street drive on gas since e85 is more expensive at my location, wish I could find a bigger gasolene friendly injector.
