They will work and wont hurt the power to much if there the same spec as a ctr cam!, thegsr in cam and itr ex cam is most favored with jrsc setups and the ctr and itr ex cam is the same. so running a ctr in cam might yield or hurt the power a lil it just depends have the motor tunned, i almost was gonna go with all ctr cams but im gonna do the famous gsr in and itr ex cam combo.
heres a good sight for info http://www.ftlracing.com/tech/honda/JRSC.html

i just wanted to mention, i have a b16 with a jrsc at 6lbs, and i run a ctr intake cam on the intake and the b16 intake cam on the exhuast. i made 200whp on a avg reading dynojet(129whp d16z6 boltons) with the crap dc 4-1 and no tuning, so im guessing the extra power came form the cams. i think the increased exhaust lift and duration and faster opening ramp on the b16 intake cam on my exhaust side are responsible for teh decent numbers for my stock setup. Has anyone else ever tried doing this? May be a good bang for your buck mod.

yah u can swap em that way, dont think ive heard of it done before though. I was looking back over specs, this was about 3 yrs ago when i did it, and b16 intake cams have about 5* less duration and .1mm more lift than itr exhaust camshafts and we all know u want less duration and more lift on s/c setups to try to keep overlap at bay. Also ive heard a few things about opening ramps being faster on intake cams but im having a hard time finding any info. I only did it at the time becuase it seemed liek a good bang for the buck mod. THis is by no means ideal for a s/c cam setup, just a lil info on a unorthodox setup. And lastly, u can put intake cams on the exhaust side but not vice versa.
