I called Jackson Racing when I installed my SC to ask the same question..b/c I had aftermarket cams from before when I was making my car a motor car..they said that they tried and dyno-tuned about five sets of cams, and the best they got was a loss of 3 hp..so stay w/the stock cams, according to Jackson Racing..they did benefit from adjustable cam gears..

use a SI or GSR intake cam with a ITR or CTR exhaust cam. Use a set of good cam gears and dial out some overlap.

Any idea what the avg. gains would be with an ITR exhaust cam and some cam gears. Would it be worth it to do from a money standpoint. I'm makin 196.5 hp and 136 tq. to the wheels now and I wanna get over 200 @ the wheels.

So both ITR intake and exhaust wouldn't be a good choice?

I was looking for the website with the dyno sheets.....I'll post it if I find it.
But the 2 cars I've seen dyno charts for with the GSR intake/ITR exhaust combo and some gears to dial out overlap made (4% SC'd ITR) and (7% SC'd GSR) additional HP.

Thanks, if you find it I'd like to see it. This may just push me over the mark.
