water spitting out of exhaust
i have a 94 civic 4dr. it has a stock d15 5sp in it. i noticed that sometimes when i let the car warm up, there will be water on the ground behind the muffler. i just install a new stock catback cuz the old one was rusted as shet. i live in chicago.
anywho, the water is not just on the ground but it sprays out a good foot or foot and a half.
car runs well from what i can tell, gets me around, doesnt bog. im jsut curious about this, im sure it will speed up the muffler rusting but besides that, is this common?

its very common,my ef leaves a puddle lol,but it is said that when a car drops water out of the exhaust the motor is good and healthy, another one of my friends got an ef hatch ls and it does the same.not to worry is not a bad sign unless you're throwing alot of water with antifreeze, that means that your overheated the engine and your head gasket is done.
yea, one year ago, head gasket went in between the 2 middle cylinders, i had the head milled and pressure tested and a new head gasket installed. i feel like its running good, just making sure the water meant nothing. it is just water/condensation, no other fluids, no leaks.
thanks for the info guys.
