misfiring gsr swap/can it be timing/correct firing order
i have a gsr swap in a 95 civic lx
po5 ecu temp.use
open header
no leaks... please help,only car that i drive work to provide for my family.
.engine is misfiring....spark plug wires are in there place as in firing order.when i take out the wires from the spark plugs,cyl,..,2,3,4 loose power except number 1.dizzy looks good.i also hear a small ticking from the engine.no knock.and im using a po5 ecu temp.car wont pass over 5000 rpm

checked the dizzy and it only goes in one way..checked all the timing and everything is good.compression is like 170 across...with the timing light says its off by a notch.it sounds like a lawn mower....i think i have the upside down dizzy..plus i have to have the dizzy unbolted and i turn it towards the header and it sounds smotther.i did that when i had the timing gun..
the engine was put together a few weeks ago.you guys think any issues with the cams or anything

any luck on your issue? i have a friend that is kinda seeing the same problem. just put a new head on and it wont rev passed 3.2K with no CEL, i was thinking timing but havent really checked that out yet but will tomorrow.
