Great Photo Shoot Locations in the PNW!!
Hey all, so I have been wanting to go take some new snaps of my car but I don't know too many places to go that have nice scenery or that have pretty easy access (at least for our Honda's lol). Of course there are the usual parking lots/garages and Alki is usually a safe bet but for whatever reason not much else comes to mind. So, if you guys could share some nice spots that you like to go shoot your cars at, let us know. I'm in the Seattle area but this thread is def. not limited to only that area.
I did search but got nothing. Plus I think this would be a good thread to have for others looking for the same thing.
Thanks HTizzle!!

yeah seriously, people post it up, I\'ve got a friend whose willing to do a shoot with me once the weather pics up and I need some places to go...besides alki. i\'m willing to get out there and check it out, but my wallet isn\'t with the gas prices the way they are. and if i find any i\'ll gladly post em up
there are some really nice spots, like Alki and down by the seattle pier's. only think is it's hard to get some shots off with all the people around. and searching for spots can take a lot of time and gas.

that's true sandpoint isn't that bad either.
If your willing to travel a bit more north, Richmond beach parking lot is pretty cool. got a winding road down to 2 parking lots, one is lower than the other, with a beach grass hill back ground on one side, beach on the other.
Beaches are a good spot for some nice shots, of course they tend to get boring, and some don't have parking lots that are next to the actual beach scene. some have a good walk to get there. the spots I'm trying to find and research are more urban and city shots, big buildings in the back ground and such.

take 705/city center exit from I-5 towards downtown tacoma then stay on 705 and you'll go under 509 once you go under stay on the right and take stadium way exit from the exit take a left and then a right on s.9th you'll take a immediate right the first right once you turn on s.9th and the garages are on the right side about a block down
Jefferson County is where all the scenery is!!! You could get some pretty nice shots with the endless scenery, landmarks, boat launches, trees whatever. Its all here. About a hour and half drive and ferry ride from seattle.
Normally it's all planned on myspace. You can add me if you want and I always post bulletins when I find out about them. If you don't have a myspace I can pm you on here. But my myspace is www.myspace.com/jewjewjew
This is a real bad *** picture man I love that effect am not a photographer or such but is this a special camera that does this or something I always wonder how they do that?
I see it done in lots of picks where they make the hood translucent like that.
