1997 Civic EX coupe
Daily driven (mainly highway)
Desired tire size 195/55/15
Desired gap between fender/tire - 1 finger
I am currently dumped on no name coilovers and what I believe to be GSR shocks. The car is a tad bit low for me. I purchased OEM shocks and am looking for suggestions based on experience. As stated I would like a 1 finger gap if I am able.
With that said, which springs are prefered and at what drop (fr/r I'm inches).
Eibach
Skunk2
Tein
HR
??
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

i would suggest Eibach or H&R. and go with the sport kits that drop you only 1"-1.5" its safer that way for your stock shocks/daily driving. they will improve your handling and make the car feel a lil stiffer. if your not driving this car on the track, there is no point in having racing equipment because you will never use it the way its intended to be used, so think twice before slamming the car or going all out on race equipment

Thanks for the info and the response. My two choices were between those so that helps. I definitely don't need anything race since I just intend to daily.
Thanks again

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of how they sit would you?
No we don't have a photo of a car with the springs installed. The drop is 1.5" though. The spring rates are 240 front, 145 rear. These "sporty" spring rates handle better than OEM, and have a good ride. Add our 22mm rear anti-sway bar 62.1003 for a great setup.

The stock shocks won't last very long, however I have seen them last quite long with a tein or eibach spring
The eibach sport kit is worth a look, it includeds springs with their pro dampers Its under 500 for the setup
Skunk2 springs tend to have higher spring rates, my friends don't ride the best and he has kyb agx shocks.
