I have a 99-00 Civic Si transmission with the VIN tag in tact. Shifts smooth, no grinds. I got it, opened up the case, inspected it, cleaned it and reassembled it. I have put approx 5k miles on it and never had a problem with it. I am selling because I came across something else I would like to purchase. I see these transmissions go for $500 everywhere. I am asking a VERY reasonable $350 picked up in the Marysville area. I am firm on the price, please do not low ball me. I do not want trades, I want cash.

I have no way of knowing the total mileage on the transmission. I am mechanic for a living, I did open and inspect the internals and found no problems. Clearances were also checked, no issues found. I had full intentions on using this transmission in my personal vehicle for many years to come so no detail was overlooked. I have put about 5k on it since then.

 

where did it come from then?

 

I met Cris a couple years ago. Bought some axles and a mid shaft from him that were just as he said.

Looking back I shoulda swooped this s4c when I had the chance.

Hes a super cool guy and would trust what he says.

 

Like the title says, it came from a 99-00 Civic SI. Your more then welcome to run the vin if you like to determine the exact year if feel you need to. I got it from a friend, i'm not sure where he got it from. Thats all I know about it. I didn't know the entire history of the item was needed for selling these days.

No "playin" here. I am more mature then that crap. Im just trying to make some money and help someone out at the same time. To ask for the WHOLE history of something like a transmission is just insane however.

I just think you're a little too paranoid since one person apparently screwed you. You know how many times I have been screwed in this industry by people? Man, if I never forgave and moved on I would have been done YEARS ago. I just had a car stolen out of my damn driveway last night for crying outloud....

It has a vin tag, I am more then willing to share pictures, vin, whatever with anyone. I would say that more then shows my willingness to stand behind this part as legit.
