Default 99 gsr in 90-93 integra. help me out.

Ok. Im selling my b18c1. Someone wants to buy it and put it into their 90-93 integra. What complications will he run into?? I don't have axles with it, so what axles will he need? and will stock gsr mounts work? Wiring problems? I haven't read anything about this swap before. So fill me in. Thanx.

its a bolt on process unlike an ef with b series of any h22 series in to another car other than a prelude first of all

1)I don't have axles with it, so what axles will he need? i think you need 90-93 axles with the intermediate shaft..

2)and will stock gsr mounts work? b18c1 mounts will not work , the mounts on the 2nd gen integras are diff.. so i say use the mounts from the original integra..

3)Wiring problems? you must specify the year of the integra taht your friend has , and yes you will run into problems if you have a 99 gsr motor

k im not sure about the axles and mounts. But for one thing im sure taht you need an pre ocd ecu if the integra is a 90-91 , you will need 90 -91 injectors, pre obd b16 distributor(or you can use an 90 91 integra distributor but you have to cut one of the legs of the dist since the vtec solenoid is on the way. oh and you will need a pre obd b16 ecu, but im not assuring you taht it will run good. since you 99 gsr has secondaries on the intake manifold. and you will have to run vtec and knock sensors to the ecu..

if the car is a 0bd1 car which is a 92-93 same story you need obd1 ecu- obd1 distributor obd1 injectors.. now.. you can use a p72 ecu since you have a b18c1 motor and that will work fine. if the car is a 92 93 then bget an p72 ecu 94-95 gsr and use the original ingra wiring harness and wire up vtec and knock sensor.. or you can go get a p28 chipped ecu. hth if any of this information is inccorect please correct me .. this is all i have to my knowledge...

opps i forgot 90-93 integras are cable transmissions. so you cant use your b18c1 transmissions due to the fact taht it is hydrolic
