Question for my friends 00 si, he has Auto meter oil Pressure gauge with a copper wire. He said when he put the copper wire in it makes a wierd ringing sound like he can hear the oil going through the wire at the gauge.

i dont think i understand the question,is it a mechanical gauge or electrical,im guessing that it is a mechanical because you said it uses the copper wire,if so then there would be oil going to the gauge,which means he has oil going into the cabin of his car and through the copper,he does have oil going through it,as far as the whining noise i dunno.get a electrical gauge then you just run a wire instead of the copper line.
