My check engine light came on and I scanned it the code came up with "p1259". 2000 ITR, possible problems that were listed are, open or short circuit condition, failed VTEC oil pressure switch, or failed VTEC solenoid. I'm thinking I need a new OEM B-series VTEC oil pressure switch. I could use the help, thanks in advanced.

Yup VTEC still works. Im thinking maybe the solenoid might be clogged up check once im hm.

lol yup just as i thought it was a lil backed up. Once i took the senors off and took the bolts off. i cleaned it out, took her for a test drive and *WHAM* no check engine light. Learning is half the battle getting burnt and a bit oil on my hands is the other half. Guess i did need the HT gurus after all...least for this mission HA! I guess I dont need a new swtich after all *crosses fingers*
