2001 Accord Lx i4 gas cutting at 4000rpm
Ok so a few months back my tire came of my car while doing 75 down the highway been in the shop for 3 moths, fixing the suspension and and straigting/priming the body.
Got the car back yesterday and i noticed the srs light was on this wasnt an issue before. My car has been throwing a cel do to circut 13 not sending backup power to the car when shut off to save the fuel maps. Anyways the wirse there all have continutity got a new fuse box to try to fix the problem just havent installed it yet. Unfourtanately this p0560 code keeps any other codes from saving to the ecu memmory.
But im driving home and its been flash flooding and i notice my car cuts at 4000 rpm goes wah wah wah like the gas cut off happens at 4k?? Stoped the car reved it in park and it wouldnt pass 4k rpms. Turned car off back on ran normal. Problems been happening off and on randonmly the last two days. Noticed the didnt put a splash guard under the bumper on intake side this part is now on order. So today i was deliviring pizzas in the rain no problems after inseting a piece of sheet metal and towel over the whole in the wheel well allowing water to splash on the filter. But on my way home 17 mile drive the car started cutting again, got home and checked the riging i did unter the short ram air filer it wasnt moist at all.... what would cause my fuel to randomly cut at 4k rpms..... Also i have no idea how to trbl shoot this srs light maybe it putting the engine in limp mode??? idk what is going on but i cant afford to have my car gone for another 3 motnhs so if here is a simple soloution set of trouble shooting i could do itd be alot better for me in the long run.

Maybe just maybe this is the problem? The body shop neglected to put a splash guard on my passenger side bumper. I have an intake and my cone filter sits right over the whole where the stock intake was. Well its been flash flooding out here and the fileter has been getting moist. Maybe the engine is sensing my intake has moisture and putting my car into limp mode(if there is such a thing) to try to save it from hydro locking? The guard is on order i tried to wrap a towel around a piece of sheet metal and set it over the hole on the top of the wheel well so my filter would stop getting damp. Idk how well this is working since the towel was soaking wet when i removed this riged splash guard tonight.
