Weird problem..
So I go to start my car last night.. get in, start it up.. after 2 seconds it throws a code.. plug in the ol laptop to check it, and it tells me that it's code 16: Fuel Injection System. Now, when I started the car, it was idling weird (as in, I could feel the engine shaking).
After it sat for a few minutes, the idle was fine again, but restarting the car didn't make the CEL go away. The ECU was in limp mode, but all the injectors were working. I got to a gas station (I needed gas) and filled it up, reset the ECU and the light went off. Drove fine the whole 25 miles home.
I figured that fixed it.. but it did the same thing to me this morning. It appears to only happen if the car is cold. Tonight it sat for about 4 hours, so I thought it would do it again to me.. so as soon as I started the car I immediately drove away with no CEL. I'm not sure if it's fixed or not.
Sorry for the long description, but I have NO idea why it would do this.. unless it's the gas.. but it is exxon 93 octane from a station I visit regularly.
Thoughts?

code 16 sets when the ecu isn't getting a ground signal from all the injectors which means one of two things, 1. you arent getting power from the main relay to the injector(s) or 2. you have a bad ground wire from the injector(s) to the ECU.
I have no idea what about your specific problem, but I'm also having a problem with my car that only happens on cold, cold mornings. When I start my car I'm getting a weird buzzing noise from the dash. But the thing is, is that it only happens in the morning, even if its been sitting outside for a few hours. I'm guessing it must be related to the extreme cold at night, but I have no idea how.
