arlight i went to the parts store to get a distributor for my b16 and they tell me there are two kinda one wiht a serial number 42u and another with 44u the 42 one is 200 and the 44 one is 260. I know that all b series dist. are the same and interchange so i aks what the diffrence is and htey say price. hah. Well i look at mine and it says 44 then i look at my friends that i currently have on my car and it says 44u so i was wondering if any9one can tell me the diffrence or tell me what there's says. The number is on the part that the top bolt connects to on the front side of it. The part that faces the radiator.

never mind they are idiots there aren't 2 distributors.

the 42u is for obd1 sohc vtec

and the 44u is for obd1 dohc vtec.
