Default F22 with H beam connecting Rods

i have a 94 accord with a f22 and i was looking in to rebuilding the engine, but i want to put H beam connecting rods in but i cant find a good place i can get them and i was wondering if it was even worth rebuilding it, or i just build a H22 and put that in there? any feed back would be a big help...thanks

What is wrong with it anyway?
And second why do you want to put H rods in there? They are different/ shorter

Im not sure if they are stronger, not an H guy myself. But the H's hit higher RPM's due to there stroke and bore as compared to the F. Same displacement but the h gets there because of a larger bore with a shorter stroke which is good for high revs.

Just throwing the rods in your engine wont enable you to rev higher. Your stroke would be dramatically shortened and if it ran it would be a torqueless snail. Also a side note if you want to go this route your compression ratio would be killed and your will need a valve train to handle such revs

i think he means H beam rods and not H22 rods.

to the OP: try http://www.raceeng.com/ or www.bisimoto.com for aftermarket rods for the F22.

yeah i mean taking my f22 and putting in H-beam connecting rods, and have them the same stroke, is it even worth it to rebuild the f22 or should i put the h22 in?

Think a straight drop-in H22 is a better idea than just changing the rods out on the F22.

i was thinking the same thing about just putting a h22 in. but will the motor bolt right in with the same tranny that was bolted to the f22? along with the motor mounts?
