Type R 5th gear into b16 cable

Type R 5th gear into b16 cable

I have a ITR 5th gear i picked up from a buddy because the 5th in my b16 tranny is bad so is it a direct replacement into the the trans?

the type r trans is basically a b16 trans with an lsd

before you put that in, you may want to consider getting an LS final drive instead of that type r! but i'm guessing your buddy already did that which is probably why he had that for you
